Capital Airlines

Capital Airlines was jointly established by the Beijing Municipal Government and HNA Aviation Group in 2010. It currently operates a fleet of 88 Airbus series aircraft. The company's main operating base is Beijing Daxing International Airport, and it has established overnight bases in Haikou, Hangzhou, Xi'an, Lijiang, Qingdao, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenyang, and Chongqing, as well as a Sanya branch. It operates 129 domestic and international routes, including 117 domestic and 12 international routes. Its route network covers major first- and second-tier cities across China, as well as regions such as Europe, North America, Oceania, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia. The Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft operation capability covers medium- and long-haul intercontinental routes, and the two-class cabin layout of "Business Class + Economy Class" meets the travel needs of all customers, serving over 15 million passengers annually.
Capital Airlines consistently adheres to the philosophy that "safety is the lifeline and high-voltage line." In 2021, it was awarded the "Flight Safety Two-Star Award" by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). It has now developed into a large and medium-sized aviation enterprise with annual revenue and brand value exceeding ten billion yuan. In the future, Capital Airlines will actively respond to the national call, closely follow the development pace of the "Belt and Road" initiative, participate in the construction of Beijing's "four centers" strategy, and actively promote the corporate culture of Liaoning Fangda Group, which emphasizes "Party building as the soul." Development History:
May 2, 2010: Beijing Capital Airlines Co., Ltd. was established.
2013: Scope of operations expanded, obtaining business licenses for domestic (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) and international passenger and cargo air transport.
2014: Opened the first international scheduled route, embarking on internationalization.
2015: Introduced the first Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft and opened the first intercontinental route in the same year.
2016: Officially obtained the "IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) Certificate" issued by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
2017: Won the "Flight Safety One-Star Award" issued by the CAAC.
September 19, 2017: In accordance with the spirit of the document Civil Aviation Development [2016] No. 50, signed an agreement with Capital Airports Group to enter operation at the new Beijing airport, and planned to operate from there.
2018: HNA Aviation Group and Beijing Capital Tourism Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement to help the company implement the national "Belt and Road" initiative and become an important platform for the opening-up of Beijing's aviation tourism industry.
2019: Capital Airlines entered operation at Beijing Daxing International Airport.
2021: Achieved 2 million consecutive safe flight hours and won the "Flight Safety Two-Star Award" from the CAAC.
December 8, 2021: Actual management control of HNA Aviation was officially transferred to Liaoning Fangda Group. As its subsidiary airline, Capital Airlines formally joined the Fangda family, embarking on a new journey and achieving a new start at this new historical starting point.
