Rongsheng Mengguli New Energy Technology Joint-stock Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Mengguli", MGL) was established in May 2002. MGL has a registered capital of 445 million RMB and currently employs over 2,500 people. It is a high-tech enterprise focused on the research, development, production, and industrial application promotion of lithium-ion power batteries for new energy vehicles. The company has formed a complete technology chain covering key materials for power batteries, single cells, battery modules, system integration, and BMS, and has successfully developed power battery products such as high-power, high-energy, and balanced energy-power types. Possessing the qualification of "Key High-tech Enterprise under the National Torch Plan," it has developed into a key backbone enterprise in China's power battery industry.
With its Beijing headquarters serving as the R&D center, the company radiates to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, Chengdu-Chongqing, and other regions. Existing bases include the Tianjin manufacturing base (10 GWh, reaching full capacity by the end of 2021), Beijing headquarters and R&D center (production capacity of 0.5 GWh), Shanxi Dayun base (production capacity of 1.5 GWh, put into operation by the end of 2020), and Guangxi battery system manufacturing base (expansion to 3 GWh within two years). Bases under construction include the Nanjing manufacturing base (production capacity of 12 GWh, put into operation on July 1, 2022) and other planned bases. Within five years, MGL's planned production capacity will exceed 50 GWh.
