Jiangxi Guangji Hospital

Jiangxi Guangji Hospital was founded in 1953. Its predecessor was the Provincial Construction Engineering Hospital, which was known as one of the "five giants" among Jiangxi state-owned enterprise employee hospitals. In 2004, the hospital underwent overall restructuring and became a restructured hospital of Jiangxi state-owned enterprises. After restructuring, Guangji Hospital, with "integrity, innovation, service, quality" as its creed, adhered to the business path of "affordable and price-capped, seeking new and special features, and sustainable development," and took "building a Ganpo medical brand and creating a new Guangji medical model" as its ultimate development goal. It created a unique affordable medical model, implemented policies of affordable medicines and current treatment prices, and became a truly affordable hospital in Jiangxi Province. Jiangxi Guangji Hospital is a municipal non-profit secondary general hospital. The hospital has 110 beds and more than 120 medical and nursing staff, including 32 senior medical technical talents and 65 intermediate or above medical technical personnel. It has under it the Guangji Community Health Service Center of Dinggong Road Subdistrict. Based on the hospital-running policy of "widely recruiting talents and invigorating the hospital through science and technology," the hospital has formed a strong team of senior experts. At the same time, the hospital spent huge sums to introduce advanced equipment for examination, diagnosis, and treatment, including American ultraz high-speed spiral CT, a full set of German Aixcon three-chip laparoscopes, hysteroscopes, Dutch Philips Doppler color ultrasound, Japanese Pentax electronic endoscope system, automatic biochemical analyzer, computerized multifunctional cervical and lumbar traction bed, electric cautery light therapeutic apparatus, ultrasonic ozone atomization gynecological therapeutic apparatus, semiconductor laser therapeutic machine, LEEP knife, dynamic electrocardiogram, and other high-tech equipment, amounting to nearly one hundred units (sets). It has also fully built six major characteristic specialties, including general surgery minimally invasive specialty, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics (hand surgery), traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation, and diabetes specialty. Among them, twelve major characteristic technologies such as "laparoscopic removal of gallstones" are in a leading position in the province. Since the restructuring in 2004, the hospital has won the honorary title of Nanchang Municipal Civilized Unit for four consecutive years.
