Established in 1989, Jinan University Press is a comprehensive university press supervised by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and hosted by Jinan University. Since its inception, adhering to the publishing tenet of "serving teaching and research, and serving overseas Chinese affairs," and insisting on the philosophy of "establishing the press through scholarship," with high-quality development as the overall requirement, it has established publishing brands in overseas Chinese affairs and Chinese language education, and has formed advantages and characteristics in fields such as humanities and social sciences, Chinese culture (Lingnan culture), linguistics, and journalism and communication.
