I. Introduction to CP Group: CP Group (Charoen Pokphand Group) is a well-known diversified multinational group founded by ethnic Chinese of Thai nationality. Introduction to CP Group's Chongqing Region: In 1991, after CP Group established its first joint venture in Chongqing—Chongqing CP Co., Ltd.—it successively established Chongqing Shuangqiao CP Co., Ltd., Chongqing Ailian Department Store Supermarket Co., Ltd., Chongqing CP Agricultural and Livestock Food Co., Ltd., Chongqing CP Pig Industry Co., Ltd., Chongqing CP Egg Industry Co., Ltd., Chongqing CP Lotus Trading Co., Ltd., Chongqing CP Feed Co., Ltd., CP Lotus Food (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., and many other enterprises. Their businesses cover feed, veterinary drugs, breeding pigs, commercial pigs, pork, eggs, and food retail, with total investment of RMB 800 million and total assets of RMB 1.75 billion. In 2024, operating revenue was RMB 3.6 billion. In 2024, 430,000 tons of feed were sold, with operating revenue of RMB 1.5 billion. The feed mill of Chongqing CP Feed Co., Ltd. is one of the modern new-type feed mills with the highest degree of automation, intelligence, mechanization, and specialization in the industry, and is also a benchmark factory in Chongqing's feed industry. It has been recognized by the Chongqing Economic and Information Commission as a digital workshop for high-end feed processing. In 2024, the breeding pig inventory was 32,500 head, the commercial pig slaughter volume was 710,000 head, and operating revenue was RMB 1.6 billion. The Yongchuan Jinlong 1,200-unit great-grandparent breeding pig production base and the Qijiang Tongya 2,400-unit great-grandparent breeding pig production base are both high-standard demonstration farms in the Chongqing area featuring standardized breeding, modern equipment, advanced technology, and scientific management. In 2024, the laying hen inventory was 1 million birds, the young laying hen slaughter volume was 1.04 million birds, 20,000 tons of eggs were sold, and operating revenue was RMB 270 million. Branded products such as "CP Selenium-enriched Eggs," "CP DHA Eggs," and "CP Corn Yellow Eggs" sell well in the Chongqing and Guizhou regions. The chickens at the breeding bases have stable quality and excellent production performance, achieving full-industry-chain, full-support, full-channel, and full-brand development. In 2024, operating revenue from the food retail business was RMB 200 million. Through the integration of breeding, food (CP meat products, egg products, and food), and retail projects, the company has achieved full-industry-chain development from farm to table and is dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable goods to the people of Chongqing. Under the guidance of the "Twenty-One Articles" development outline and the requirements of the "Eight New" guidelines for the development of CP Group's Chongqing Region, an investment agreement has been signed with the Qijiang District Government for a 1-million-head pig industry chain project under construction. The project includes 500,000-head pig breeding, 1-million-head pig slaughtering, and 100,000-ton meat food processing, covering multiple links such as feed production, pig breeding, slaughtering and processing, cold-chain logistics, catering and retail, and organic fertilizer production, creating a complete industry chain.
