Jiangxi Copper Company Limited is a joint-stock company jointly initiated and established by Jiangxi Copper Corporation, Hong Kong International Copper (China) Investment Limited, Shenzhen Baoheng Group Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Xinxin Industrial Co., Ltd., and Hubei Sanxin Gold & Copper Co., Ltd. The company was established on January 24, 1997. On December 21, 2001, the company issued 2,300 million RMB ordinary shares (A shares) and listed and traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on January 11, 2002.
