Wuhan Vocational College of Information and Communication is a full-time ordinary institution of higher education approved by the People's Government of Hubei Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, with over 8,000 full-time students. The college is located in Miaoshan Science and Technology Park, Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China), with complete modern teaching facilities, covering an area of 648 mu, with a building area of over 200,000 square meters, total fixed assets of 220 million yuan, total teaching equipment value of 75.94 million yuan, and a collection of nearly 600,000 books and periodicals of various types. It has 1 comprehensive practical training center, 4 large-scale practical training bases, 75 various laboratories and training rooms, and 132 off-campus internship and training bases, among which the Printing Engineering Comprehensive Training Center has been supported by the central government and rated as a *** Printing Technology Training Base.

It offers 33 majors (including directions) oriented toward information communication and modern service industries, among which the media film and television and printing and packaging two characteristic professional groups, built on the platform of the information communication professional group, have always been at the forefront of higher vocational colleges in Hubei Province.
The college has a faculty team with a reasonable professional structure and rich teaching experience, and has hired a large number of experts, professors, senior journalists, senior editors, senior engineers, etc. with profound academic attainments from well-known universities, research institutes, large media and related industry enterprises inside and outside the province to serve as long-term *** teachers and practical teaching instructors.
