Shenzhen Longneng Battery Co., Ltd. was established in July 2007 with a registered capital of 30 million RMB. It is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production and sales of lithium batteries. The company's products cover IT, digital 3C, power, energy storage and other fields. The battery features high safety, high capacity, small size, light weight, long life and environmental friendliness. The company is equipped with domestic advanced production lines, sophisticated equipment and an experienced management team to ensure product quality. It was originally a controlled subsidiary of the Hong Kong-listed company SCUD Group (Stock Code: 1399.HK). In October 2017, Qiantai Energy Regeneration Technology Co., Ltd. acquired Longneng Battery as a wholly-owned subsidiary. In April 2019, Longneng Battery moved from Pingdi, Longgang to Factory Building 1, Qiantai Industrial Park, Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone, Ebu Town, Haifeng County, Shanwei City.
The Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone is located in Haifeng County, Shanwei City, and is the eleventh district of Shenzhen. It is at the intersection of the Shenzhen-Shanwei Expressway, National Highway 324, the Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway and the Guangzhou-Shanwei Railway under construction. The Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Zone governs "four towns and one farm", including Ebu, Xiaomo, Houmen and Chishi, with a total area of 468.3 square kilometers, abundant land resources and broad development space.
