Shenzhen Overseas Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd. was established in 1981. It is China's * state-owned decoration enterprise, the * architectural decoration enterprise to win the "National Quality Management Award", a national high-tech enterprise, and a third-level unit of China State Construction, a large central state-owned enterprise and a Fortune Global 500 company (ranked 16th in 2025). It is one of the top 100 enterprises in China's architectural decoration industry, an AAA credit enterprise in China's architectural decoration industry, a national AAA credit enterprise, a contract-abiding and credit-reliable enterprise in Guangdong Province, a founding and standing council member of the China Building Decoration Association, a vice president unit of the Shenzhen Decoration Industry Association, and a well-known brand in Shenzhen.
The company holds Grade I qualifications for building decoration and curtain wall construction, Grade A qualifications for building decoration, curtain wall and intelligent design, and a total of 23 qualifications in construction, design, exhibition and museums. It has won 26 Luban Prizes, 16 National Quality Engineering Awards, 87 National Construction Engineering Decoration Awards, 141 National Science and Technology Demonstration Projects and Innovation Achievement Awards, 125 national patents, 15 provincial and ministerial-level construction methods, 103 enterprise-level construction methods, 15 national copyrights, chief-edited or co-edited 28 industry standards and specifications, and received 394 design awards of various kinds. In 2021, it was rated as one of the first batch of pilot units for building decoration carbon emission measurement in Shenzhen. In 2022, it established the Shenzhen Prefabricated Building Industrial Base and was rated as a Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center. In 2023, it was approved to establish a Shenzhen Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base.
The company is headquartered in Shenzhen, with its headquarters building located in the bustling Huaqiangbei Central Park area of Shenzhen.
