Xinjiang Xinye Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), established in 2009, is a modern coal chemical enterprise funded by Xinjiang Xinye State-owned Assets Operation (Group) Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of RMB 2 billion. Currently, the Company has total assets of RMB 10.5 billion, with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of 1,4-butanediol (BDO), 100,000 tons of high-clean gasoline, 200,000 tons of liquefied natural gas, 500,000 tons of methanol, and 100,000 tons of polyoxymethylene, employing over 1,700 staff members.
After more than a decade of relentless efforts, the Company has developed into a model enterprise for "military-civilian integration" and a demonstration leader in modern coal chemical industry. It has become a "chain leader" enterprise in circular economy, integrating "modern coal chemical industry + clean energy + special fuels + fine chemicals + carbon dioxide emission reduction", with profitability ranking among the forefront of the modern coal chemical industry. It has been awarded the titles of "High-tech Enterprise" and "Green Factory"; its subsidiary fine chemical company has won the national "Worker Pioneer" honor.
The Company resolutely implements General Secretary Xi Jinping's directive that "the coal chemical industry has huge potential and promising prospects, and it is necessary to improve the comprehensive utilization efficiency of coal as a chemical raw material, promote the high-end, diversified, and low-carbon development of the coal chemical industry, make strengthening scientific and technological innovation a top priority, accelerate breakthroughs in key core technologies, and actively develop coal-based special fuels and coal-based new materials." The "comprehensive utilization process of crushed coal pressurized gasification syngas via methanol to gasoline, co-producing liquefied natural gas and for deep processing of tar", jointly owned with China Chemical Sedin Engineering Co., Ltd. and validated and implemented at Xinye Energy Chemical Company, won the Silver Award of the 23rd China Patent Award. The Company has introduced six core patented technologies, including the one-step gasoline production method from the Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the butynediol method for BDO from INISTA (USA), and has jointly established the "Xinjiang Key Laboratory Branch Laboratory for Clean Coal Conversion and Processes" and a doctoral workstation with Xinjiang University, China University of Mining and Technology, and other research institutions. In 2022, it jointly built the Northwest Energy Carbon Neutrality Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education. The collaborative research projects, including the key technology R&D and demonstration of anti-fouling for circulating fluidized bed boilers burning pure Zhundong coal and the comprehensive utilization project of CO2-enhanced water washing for dealkalization and carbon reduction of Xinjiang high-alkali coal, are the first of their kind in China, achieving 5 core patents. The Company currently owns 51 technology patents in the fields of "coal-based and carbon-based" materials. It unwaveringly implements the national strategic deployment of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality", having invested RMB 1.4 billion in energy conservation, pollution reduction, and carbon reduction, with multiple environmental indicators surpassing national emission standards. Through the talent revitalization strategy, it has gathered 8 high-end professional and technical talents in the industry, 54 personnel with intermediate and senior professional titles, and 40 registered safety engineers.
