CCCC Road & Bridge East China Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CCCC Road & Bridge East China Company") is a controlled subsidiary of CCCC Road & Bridge Construction Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CCCC Road & Bridge", formerly Road & Bridge Group International Construction Co., Ltd.). "CCCC Road & Bridge" is affiliated with China Communications Construction Group (hereinafter referred to as "CCCC Group"), a large central enterprise, the first listed company in the domestic highway construction industry (stock code "600263"), the first professional company possessing a complete set of offshore construction equipment, and one of the first batch of enterprises obtaining the Special Grade Qualification for General Contracting of Highway Engineering Construction. It possesses strong operational strength and management capability and enjoys a high reputation within and outside the industry. The predecessor of CCCC Road & Bridge East China Company was the Second Engineering Company of the First Highway Engineering Bureau of Road & Bridge Group. In 2003, it successfully completed restructuring and was registered in Pudong, Shanghai. The company holds the First Grade Qualification for General Contracting of Highway Engineering Construction, the First Grade Qualification for General Contracting of Municipal Public Works Construction, the First Grade Qualification for Specialized Contracting of Bridge Engineering, the First Grade Qualification for Specialized Contracting of Highway Pavement Engineering, and the First Grade Qualification for Specialized Contracting of Highway Subgrade Engineering, all approved by the Ministry of Construction. The company has always regarded the bridge market as the cornerstone of its development. Through participation in the construction of mega projects such as the Donghai Bridge of Shanghai Yangshan Deep-Water Port, the Suramadu Bridge in Indonesia, the Shanghai Chongming Yangtze River Crossing Channel Yangtze River Tunnel and Bridge, the Jintang Bridge of the Zhejiang Zhoushan Mainland Island Connection Project, and the Lishui Grand Bridge of the Zhanghua Expressway in Hunan, it has maintained good development momentum and operational performance and established its advantage in the construction of offshore bridges and mega bridges. In 2007, the company began to enter the railway construction field and successively participated in the construction of the Harbin-Dalian Railway Passenger Dedicated Line, the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway, the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway, the Lanzhou-Chongqing Railway, and the Shanghai-Kunming Railway Passenger Dedicated Line, becoming a main force in railway construction.
