In 1971, Klaus-Hartmut Scholz founded proimplant Zahntechnisches Labor, a dental prosthetic laboratory, in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. Following in his father's footsteps and goals, in 1999 Alexander Scholz established medentis medical GmbH and launched the ICX brand.
