China General Nuclear Power Group (abbreviated as CGN), is a national super-large central enterprise group that has gradually grown and strengthened with China's reform and opening-up and the development of the nuclear power industry. In September 1994, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd. was officially registered and established with a registered capital of 12.2 billion RMB. In April 2013, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group was renamed China General Nuclear Power Group.
CGN Energy Conservation Industry Development Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned second-level subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd., registered and established in October 2010. CGN Energy Conservation Company is committed to energy conservation, emission reduction, and efficient energy utilization for the whole society, providing markets and customers with 'high energy efficiency, high quality, and high value' clean energy products and services in a 'low-carbon, low-energy consumption, and low-emission' manner. It mainly engages in the application, transportation, storage, and supply guarantee services of natural gas (CNG, LNG) for urban residents, industrial and commercial users, and the conversion of vehicles, ships, coal to gas, and oil to gas, as well as the development of upstream natural gas resources, urban gas pipeline networks, LNG receiving terminals, and other gas infrastructure investment, construction, and operation businesses; it also engages in the research and development of biomass-to-natural gas and waste resource energy utilization technologies, project development, investment, and operation. At present, it has built multiple projects in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Jiangxi, Henan, Hebei, Xinjiang, and other places, including vehicle and ship gas filling stations, industrial gasification stations, LNG distribution and storage stations, and biomass-to-natural gas projects. The company's controlled subsidiaries include: CGN Gas Co., Ltd., CGN Shuangmin Gas Jiangsu Co., Ltd., CGN Dongli Gas Co., Ltd., CGN Xinsheng Gas Co., Ltd., CGN Shihua Gas Co., Ltd., CGN Yulong (Henan) New Energy Co., Ltd., CGN Biomethane Hebei Co., Ltd., CGN Hutubi Bioenergy Co., Ltd., CGN Ninth Division Bioenergy Co., Ltd., and CGN Baoding New Energy Co., Ltd.
