Magna-Cosma is a subsidiary of Magna International, which is a Fortune Global 500 company and ranks among the top four automotive parts suppliers globally, with its headquarters in Ontario, Canada.
Magna's wholly-owned subsidiary, Cosma International, has the capability to research, develop, and manufacture complete vehicle body-in-white and chassis systems. It operates 67 plants and 15 R&D centers worldwide, providing customers with vehicle body, chassis systems, and engineering R&D and manufacturing on a global scale.
Cosma China primarily produces components related to body systems and chassis systems. It operates a China regional headquarters, one engineering center, and 10 production bases located across the country (in Shanghai, Changchun, Chongqing, Changsha, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Hefei, etc.), with a total workforce of approximately 3,500 employees.
Our main customers in China include SAIC-GM, SAIC Volkswagen, FAW Audi, FAW-Volkswagen, FAW Toyota, Beijing Benz, BMW Brilliance, Beijing Hyundai, Changan Ford, Changan Mazda, GAC Fiat Chrysler, GAC Honda, GAC Toyota, Dongfeng Honda, NIO, Geely Automobile (including Volvo), Li Auto, and NIO, among others. Additionally, we possess strong R&D capabilities, sophisticated production equipment, advanced manufacturing technology, a comprehensive quality assurance system, and internationally advanced testing methods. We have first-class imported automated production lines and equipment for stamping, welding, casting, assembly, etc., enabling us to meet the R&D and production needs of various complex products.
