Haichang Polar Ocean World

The Shanghai Haichang Polar Ocean Park project is located on the shore of Dishui Lake in Lingang New City, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, about 80 kilometers from the central city of Shanghai.
The project will create an ocean park of international standards in terms of theme characteristics, quality, scale, and construction level, with marine culture as its theme, integrating marine culture experience with themed entertainment. Centered on the core connotation of marine culture, it combines animal displays, themed entertainment, cultural leisure, science education, and wonderful performances, providing visitors with tourism products featuring the richest display content, the most innovative display forms, high technological content, strong experience and interactivity, and the most exciting performances.
The project includes a polar ocean park, themed resort hotels, and supporting commercial facilities. The polar ocean park is divided into two areas: the west area mainly focuses on polar animal displays, while the east area mainly focuses on marine fish and dolphin displays and performances. The park consists of 9 exhibition halls, 3 large animal interaction and performance venues, 2 large cinemas, and 12游乐设施, showcasing animals of the North and South Poles and marine fishes, and offers equipment entertainment, special-effect films, animal science education displays, and water parades among other entertainment activities.
