Beijing Meiermu Hospital, under the Meiermu Eye Group brand, was founded in 1988. He previously served as the director of the Cataract Phacoemulsification Training Center at the Eye Institute of Beijing Tongren Hospital, has trained over 1,000 cataract surgeons, and has performed over 60,000 successful surgeries. He specializes in cataract and intraocular refractive surgery, and was among the early experts in China to perform intraocular lens exchange and ICL implantation, having successfully corrected myopia up to 3000 degrees.
