Linamar Automotive Systems (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. was established in 2005 as a factory invested by Linamar Group in China. It primarily manufactures key components and assemblies for automotive engines and transmissions, supplying customers such as GM, Ford, Volkswagen, BMW, Bosch, Caterpillar, Tesla, NIO, Li Auto, and XPeng. With market expansion and the development of new projects, a second factory, the Powertrain Plant, was built in 2016 under Linamar Automotive Systems (Wuxi) Co., Ltd.
