The Asia region currently has more than 2,000 employees engaged in the R&D and production of automatic transmissions, disc brake assemblies, electric power steering systems, and components and assemblies for the above products, engine parts and components, and chassis parts and components. Linamar Automotive Systems (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture established in 2016 with joint investment from Linamar Automotive Systems (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. and Linamar Group of Canada. It is located in the Frontier Technology City of the Innovation Economy Corridor in Yubei District, Chongqing, covering an area of 45,372 square meters.
