Since 1984 all carburetors bear the ZAMA brand. 1987 ZAMA industries was founded in Hongkong the headquarter of ZAMA group established in Tai Po in New Territories. In 1998 large parts of the production were moved to Shenzhen. As of 1.1.2009 the former owner sold all shares to ZAMA’s biggest customer Andreas Stihl AG, the worldwide known technology leader fgardening forestry equipment, one of the biggest family owned business’, role model fSMEs (Small Medium Enterprises) in Germany. Although being owned by STIHL, ZAMA continues to supply the whole industry with its first products services has proven to be a reliable, trustworthy partner to customers around the world.Since then ZAMA continued to grow modernize, electronic carburetors design of complete engine management solutions, together with our partners, were added to the product portfolio.
