Central China Electric Power Test & Research Institute is mainly engaged in system commissioning of various types of generator units in electric power engineering, power grid engineering commissioning, operation and maintenance of generator units, operation and maintenance of new energy power stations (photovoltaic, wind power), power equipment testing, power technology consulting, power technology research and achievement transformation, and other businesses. It is a unit with dual Grade A commissioning qualifications for both power source and power grid electric power engineering. It has successively obtained certifications including the three-standard system certification, testing qualification, high-tech enterprise, and licenses such as Grade 2 electric power testing, Grade 3 electric power installation, and Grade 3 electric power maintenance electric power facility permits.
　　Central China Electric Power Test & Research Institute has strong technical strength, currently possessing nearly 150 management and technical talents, of whom over 80% hold bachelor's degrees or above, and over 52% hold intermediate or above professional titles. It has more than 500 sets of various testing equipment worth 15 million yuan.
　　The company takes whole-set commissioning of large thermal power units of 600 MW and above, installation and commissioning of power grid engineering, and operation and maintenance of new energy power stations and generator units as its core; takes power plant performance testing, special testing, and production technical services as its development direction; and takes technology & environmental protection, energy-saving technological transformation, comprehensive energy and other related business areas as supplements. It has now undertaken electric power testing, commissioning, and operation and maintenance businesses for over 100 units of various types including thermal power, power grid, photovoltaic, wind power, biomass power generation, and gas turbine. Among them, international projects are spread across 8 countries including Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, Myanmar, and Cambodia. The company's market contract signing and operating revenue exceed 100 million yuan annually.
