Hunan Modern Environment Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Modern Environment") was established on April 15, 2010, with a registered capital of 661 million yuan. It is a state-owned enterprise focusing on the environmental protection industry, affiliated with Modern Investment (000900.SZ), a state-owned listed company under Hunan Expressway Group managed by the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and serves as an important industrial investment platform in its "one body, two wings" development pattern. In recent years, in accordance with the requirements of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprise reform and development, Modern Environment has seized opportunities in the ecological environment industry, formulated strategic goals, promoted strategic transformation, and established the "One-Two-Six" development strategy of "anchoring one overall goal + developing two core businesses + building six industry chain extension businesses." Currently, it has 2 branches and 14 subsidiaries, with more than 500 employees and total assets of 2.8 billion yuan. Relying on innovation platforms such as the "Hunan Provincial Urban and Rural Domestic Waste Treatment and Disposal Engineering Technology Research Center," the "Hunan Provincial Engineering Laboratory for Green Mining, Beneficiation and Smelting of Non-ferrous Metals and Pollution Prevention Technology," and the Changsha Expert Workstation, the company has successively developed more than 10 patented technologies, including small-scale domestic waste pyrolysis and gasification technology, low-pressure saturated steam power generation technology for domestic waste incineration, traditional farming mode + ME soil conditioner, and MFB new combined process technology for landfill leachate treatment, with 122 authorized core patents. It was selected as a Hunan Provincial Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Team, with cumulative high-tech output value of 300 million yuan and cumulative technology transactions of 48.06 million yuan. It has gradually built a full-industry innovation chain integrating scientific research, transformation, design, application, construction, and operation, and has obtained an AAA-level entity credit rating. It is a vice president unit of the Hunan Environmental Protection Industry Association, a vice president unit of the Hunan Urban Construction Industry Association, and a vice chairman unit of the Hunan Society for Environmental Sciences.
