Shuanghong Group* was first established in 2009. It is a technology-based comprehensive service group company specializing in comprehensive agricultural services and comprehensive improvement of agricultural and rural environments. It is the earliest "National High-tech Enterprise" in Hunan Province engaged in comprehensive agricultural services, remediation of heavy metal pollution in agricultural land, and comprehensive management of agricultural non-point source pollution as well as technology research and development. It has won a series of strength certifications, including "National Top 100 Socialized Service Organization," "National Demonstration Organization for Specialized Unified Prevention and Control of Crop Pests and Diseases," "Technology Innovation Little Giant Enterprise," and "Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization." By consolidating its service team, innovating service models, and improving service quality, the company has broadly participated in agricultural service projects and comprehensive agricultural and rural environmental improvement projects related to remediation of heavy metal pollution in agricultural land, improvement of cultivated land fertility/acidification management, agricultural science and technology promotion, comprehensive utilization of straw, and high-quality and efficient rice production. At present, it has formed a business development system with Hunan as the core region, radiating to Guangdong, Jiangxi, Guangxi, and other provinces. Since participating in the remediation of heavy metal pollution in cultivated land in 2014, it has cumulatively treated and restored more than 2.3 million mu and has created the "Shaoguan Model" and "Nanning Model." The company has qualifications for general contracting of municipal public engineering construction and professional contracting of environmental protection engineering, possesses professional engineering design and construction teams, and has the ability to undertake large-scale EPC projects. It has successfully created multiple model projects, including the agricultural non-point source pollution control project in Liling City, Hunan Province, the agricultural non-point source pollution control project in Duchang County and Ruichang City, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, the Dongting Lake chemical fertilizer and pesticide agricultural waste pollution remediation project in Wangcheng District, Changsha City, and the EPC general contracting project for ecological closure of the domestic waste landfill in Wannian County, Jiangxi Province. The enterprise attaches great importance to innovation demonstration and technology research and development. It has built a comprehensive experimental base of nearly 300 mu for comprehensive improvement of agricultural and rural environments and agricultural resource utilization, and relying on the experimental base, it has carried out environmental comprehensive improvement experiments such as remediation of heavy metal-polluted cultivated land, plant ecological restoration, and agricultural resource recycling. At the same time, it has established strategic cooperative relationships with research institutes such as the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hunan Institute of Agricultural Environment and Ecology, Hunan Agricultural University, Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Hunan Institute of Microbiology, and the Institute of Eco-Environmental and Soil Sciences of Guangdong Academy of Sciences in scientific research areas such as comprehensive agricultural environmental improvement, prevention and control of agricultural non-point source pollution, and closure of domestic waste landfills, and has jointly built and created multiple scientific research laboratories, technology service platforms, and engineering technology centers.
