Guangdong Food Import & Export Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shichu Group"), established in 1954, was formerly known as China National Food Export Corporation Guangzhou Branch, China National Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs Import & Export Corporation Guangdong Food Branch, and Guangdong Food Import & Export Corporation. In 1993, the Shichu Group was formally established, and in 2016, it was restructured into a limited liability company. After nearly 70 years of arduous entrepreneurship and relentless efforts, the Shichu Group has forged a distinctive path of "internationalization" in six aspects: independent brands, marketing networks, technological innovation, quality certification bases, professional teams, and food safety monitoring. Among them, "Pearl River Bridge" brand products sell well in many countries and regions worldwide, having received numerous domestic and international honors such as "China Famous Brand Products", "American Superior Brand", and "Hong Kong Superbrand". The "Guangdong Provincial Food Export" brand live pigs enjoy a high reputation in the Hong Kong and Macau markets and are well recognized by consumers. As early as the 1990s, the Shichu Group positioned industrial investment as the foundation for cross-century development, forward-looking and continuously promoting mixed-ownership system reforms and innovations.
