Chongqing Qingping Machinery Co., Ltd. was founded in 1965. It is a backbone military-civilian integration enterprise under Chongqing Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, a designated research and development enterprise for special-purpose small-module gears and gearboxes for the science and technology industry, a national high-tech enterprise and a Chongqing Municipal Technology Innovation Demonstration Enterprise, and the director unit of the Small Module Gear Working Committee of China General Machine Components Industry Association. It has successively passed ISO9001:2016 and :2017 quality system certifications, scientific research and production filing certificate, unit qualification certificate, national qualification certification, and level-3 metrology certification. Its products have won the "National Gold Medal Award".
The company is located in Liangjiang New Area of Chongqing, the third national development and opening-up new area. It possesses multiple new-type technology application patents and invention patents. The company's technology center is a Chongqing-certified enterprise technology center and a small-module gear engineering technology research center. In cooperation with Chongqing University, it has established a Precision Transmission Joint Research and Development Center, a Graduate Joint Training Practice Base, and a pilot production base of the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Transmission. It is a member of the "Chongqing Robot and Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance". It has 32 registered utility model patents and 13 invention patents. Its gearbox products won the first prize for innovative technological achievements from the China Gear Association, its marine deck crane reducer won the second prize for innovative technological achievements in the gear industry, and its "high-torque high-speed combined robot joint harmonic drive" for robots won the "Second Golden Finger Award". Its small-module gears and gearboxes have been rated as "Chongqing Famous Brand Products", and its megawatt-level wind power yaw and pitch reduction gearbox products have been rated as "Chongqing High-Tech Products". It possesses production lines for medium and small module precision gears and gearboxes, small and medium-sized planetary reduction gearboxes, and other gear blanks and tooth profile processing, heat treatment, assembly, coating, and testing. It has a comprehensive scientific research and production capacity of 6 million gears of various types and 40,000 gearboxes annually.
