China Xinxing Construction Development Corporation (formerly the Engineering Corps of the General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army), founded in 1953, is now under the China Xinxing (Group) Corporation, a large construction enterprise managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. The head office has under its jurisdiction a comprehensive range of professional companies, including branches 1 to 12, architectural design institutes, real estate development, decoration, steel structure, foundation, road and bridge, equipment installation, materials, leasing, and testing and inspection, as well as professional institutions for scientific research and metrology. It has branches in Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shandong, Liaoning, Hebei, Guangdong, and other places.
