EE Group is a backbone unit in China for scientific research and production, focusing on integrated circuit manufacturing equipment, new flat panel display equipment, new energy equipment, and solar photovoltaic industry. It has the capability of partial integrated circuit production lines, system integration, and turn-key capability for the entire photovoltaic solar energy industry chain. It has formed a research, development, and manufacturing system for microelectronic manufacturing equipment, represented by ion implanters, planarization equipment (CMP), and electrochemical deposition equipment (ECD), covering multiple fields such as material processing, chip manufacturing, advanced packaging, and testing and inspection. It possesses national research institutions such as the National Photovoltaic Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center, the Science and Technology Industry Micro-Assembly Technology Research and Application Center, and the Science and Technology Industry Active Layer Optimization Growth Technology Innovation Center, and has set up post-doctoral workstations and research centers.
