China Construction Sixth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CSCEC Sixth Engineering Bureau) is a large-scale comprehensive construction enterprise group integrating architectural engineering design, construction, real estate development, mechanical and electrical equipment installation, decoration, and technical consulting. The predecessor of CSCEC Sixth Engineering Bureau was formed by the merger and reorganization of the Logistics Department of the 20th Corps of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the Second Division of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Construction Engineering. In December 2007, it was restructured and listed with China Construction Co., Ltd., and renamed as China Construction Sixth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., with its headquarters located at No. 219 Bawei Road, Hedong District, Tianjin. CSCEC Sixth Engineering Bureau is a special-grade enterprise for general contracting of building engineering construction, with its headquarters holding the special-grade qualification for general contracting of building engineering construction, first-grade qualifications for general contracting of highway engineering and municipal public works construction, first-grade professional contracting qualifications for mechanical and electrical equipment installation, steel structure engineering, bridge engineering, highway pavement engineering, and foundation treatment, as well as class A design qualifications for building engineering and other supporting enterprise qualifications. CSCEC Sixth Engineering Bureau has under its jurisdiction five wholly-owned subsidiaries with first-grade qualifications for general contracting of building construction, two real estate companies, a double-class A professional decoration company, an installation company with first-grade general contracting qualification for mechanical and electrical equipment installation, a class A design institute, a class A consulting and supervision company, a building technology development company, and two business divisions (infrastructure department and real estate business division), as well as railway company, bridge company, rail transit company, general contracting company, municipal company, South China company, and other subsidiaries and branches. CSCEC Sixth Engineering Bureau currently has a registered capital of over 2.5 billion yuan, with a management team of more than 12,000 people, among whom more than 2,000 are engineering and technical personnel with intermediate and senior professional titles, and more than 1,200 are nationally registered constructors.
