It was formed by the merger of Shenzhen Special Zone Daily Press Group and Shenzhen Business Daily, and is a public institution. Its headquarters is located at No. 6008 Shennan Avenue, Futian District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. The group owns 9 newspapers and 5 periodicals, including Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, Shenzhen Business Daily, Jing Daily, Hong Kong Commercial Daily, and Shenzhen Daily, as well as new media platforms such as Shenzhen News Network and Dute App, forming a convergent media matrix covering 'paper media + website + app + official WeChat + government new media operation + media think tank'.
