Nanjing Fiberglass Research & Design Institute was established in February 1964, approved by the State Science and Technology Commission, the State Planning Commission, and the State Economic Commission, and organized in Nanjing. It was originally affiliated with the National Bureau of Building Materials Industry. On July 1, 1999, in accordance with the requirements of the national scientific research institution management system reform, our institute transformed from a public institution to an enterprise, and is now affiliated with China National Materials Group Corporation (Sinoma).
Currently, our institute has an enterprise post-doctoral research station, a national key laboratory, and one academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
