Dongfeng Joyful Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise mainly engaged in the research and development and production of L4 autonomous driving products, while simultaneously expanding four major product lines: multi-modal transportation vehicle commodity line, self-control and cloud-control systems, sharing-city smart city ecosystem, and digital tools, providing customers with integrated mobility service solutions for smart transportation and smart city.

Milestone events:

In 2017, the highway autonomous driving vehicle jointly developed with University of Science and Technology realized all autonomous driving functions and controller engineering under highway road conditions.

In 2018, the developed autonomous driving 2.0 vehicle passed the road test license test at Chongqing Intelligent Connected Vehicle Test Demonstration Zone and was issued an autonomous driving road test license (Yu A0159 Test).

In April 2019, Sharing-VAN debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show, equipped with LTE-V/5G, unmanned driving and other technological achievements, realizing 13 diversified functions including one-key ride, speed-limited driving, dynamic obstacle avoidance, multi-vehicle platooning, remote control, and real-time monitoring.

In September 2019, the 5G parallel driving dispatch and command center was completed, successfully achieving remote 5G cloud control over thousands of kilometers in Wuhan, Guangzhou, Shiyan and other places, realizing the demonstration operation of 5G+automobiles.

In September and November 2019, it successively passed the "Intelligent Connected Vehicle Autonomous Driving Test Regulations" tests in Xiangyang and Changsha. In March 2020, it assisted Wuhan in fighting the epidemic, providing a "Dongfeng Solution" for the national technology war against the epidemic, improving epidemic control efficiency and reducing infection risks.

In June 2020, the L4 5G autonomous driving vehicle Dongfeng Sharing-VAN 1.0Plus rolled off the production line and was delivered to customers, starting operations such as manned shuttle and goods transportation in smart parks.

In August 2020, demonstration operation services were realized in Zhejiang, Shandong, Hunan and Yunnan.

In September 2020, Han Zheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, took a test ride and gave a thumbs up to Sharing-VAN.

In December 2020, Dongfeng Joyful Technology was officially registered and established, embarking on a new journey of "evolving a better life."

In recent years, the team has successively undertaken multiple national-level, provincial and ministerial-level, and company-level scientific research projects, mastered various key technologies of 5G+autonomous driving, and applied for nearly 50 core patents.

Up to now, Dongfeng Joyful Technology's products and team have won numerous honors including the Unmanned Driving Leadership Award and Best Speed Award at the Intelligent Vehicle Competition, 2nd place in Group A of the Cross Obstacles Army Unmanned Driving Competition, Silver Award at the Hubei Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Bronze Award at DIA China Design Intelligence Award, "Top Ten Original Design Award" at the World Industrial Design Conference, 2020 German iF Design Award, and many others.
