In the field of financial institution services, JD Technology has provided multi-level digital solutions to over 600 financial institutions of various types, including banks, insurance companies, funds, trusts, and securities companies. In the field of merchant and enterprise services, it has provided digital solutions covering business and technology to more than 1 million small and micro merchants, over 200,000 small and medium-sized enterprises, and over 700 large commercial centers.

At present, JD Technology has more than 10,000 employees, of whom over 70% are R&D and professional personnel, and it has a number of scientists selected as IEEE Fellows. As of the end of 2020, the Group had applied for a total of 3,540 patents and published nearly 350 related papers at international AI conferences such as AAAI, IJCAI, CVPR, KDD, NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, and ICASSP.

In the field of artificial intelligence, JD Technology continues to deepen its work in technical areas such as speech and acoustics, computer vision, machine learning, knowledge graphs, semantics, and dialogue, and has won 19 world first-place honors in multiple international academic competitions. It has established AI laboratories in cooperation with domestic and foreign universities including Stanford University and the University of Science and Technology of China, fully carrying out the practice of integrating industry, academia, and research. In addition, in the latest "China Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning Solutions Vendor Assessment 2020Q4" released by Forrester, an internationally authoritative independent research institution, JD Technology participated in the evaluation and was ranked among the "Strong Performers". At the same time, the cumulative invocation of JD's NeuHub AI open platform has reached trillions of times.

In the field of cloud computing, as of now, JD Technology has built more than 50 bases and implemented city cloud projects, with over 870,000 registered users and more than 40,000 enterprise users. It has achieved 100% cloud-based orders and possesses one of the world's largest Docker clusters and one of China's leading GPU clusters.

In the field of Internet of Things, JD Technology was the first to make business arrangements in 2014 and launched a self-developed smart home interconnection platform that is cross-brand and cross-category. At present, the IoT platform connects more than 200 million high-quality devices, covers more than 230 device categories, over 1,000 brands, and more than 4,000 smart home devices, with over 2.7 billion interactions. It has served 26 million households cumulatively.

In the field of blockchain, JD Technology has developed an independently controllable and fully open-source underlying engine and created the industry-renowned "JD ZhiZhen Chain" technology brand. Among them, the "ZhiZhen Chain Anti-counterfeiting and Traceability Platform" has cooperated with more than 1,000 brand merchants, with over 1 billion data records on the chain and more than 7.5 million consumer "quality traceability" inquiries.

Relying on the deep ecosystem platform and long-term accumulated technical strength of JD Group, JD Technology has participated in a number of major national research projects: It was selected into the national AI team—the list of the Ministry of Science and Technology's National AI Open Innovation Platforms—and undertakes the important task of building the national "New Generation Intelligent Supply Chain AI Open Innovation Platform". It also leads national research projects including the Ministry of Science and Technology's National Key R&D Program project "National Central City Data Control and Knowledge Extraction Technology and System Application", "Construction of National New District Digital Twin System and Integrated Network Computing System", and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's public service platform construction project "Construction of Application Scenario Public Service Platform for the Pioneering Zone of AI Innovation Application", among other national scientific research projects.
