China Children's Press & Publication Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CCG) was formed in 2000 through the merger of China Children's News Agency and China Children's Publishing House. Under the supervision of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, it is a professional children's news and publishing institution with the longest history, the strongest comprehensive publishing strength, and the greatest influence in China, ranking first in the overall economic scale among national children's book publishing units. CCG edits and publishes renowned domestic newspapers and periodicals such as "China Children's News", "We Love Science", "Children's Literature", "Children's Pictorial", "Sister Zhixin", and "Counselor", and operates the largest central children's news website in China, "Future Net". It publishes more than 2,000 book titles annually and has launched multiple digital reading products. Additionally, it owns several wholly-owned subsidiaries engaged in the publication and distribution of educational auxiliary books and reading promotion. Over its more than 70 years of development, CCG has attracted and cultivated a large number of outstanding editorial and publishing professionals, accumulated resources of well-known authors and writers, and made significant contributions to the children's publishing industry of New China. In recent years, CCG has received important awards such as the National Advanced Unit for Cultural System Reform, the China Publishing Government Award for Advanced Publishing Unit, one of the first batch of demonstration units for digital publishing transformation, the National Advanced Unit for Ideological and Moral Construction of Minors, the Capital Civilized Unit, and the National Key Enterprise for Cultural Export. Many of its books, newspapers, and periodicals have won authoritative awards including the National Top 100 Newspapers and Periodicals, the China Government Publishing Award for Book Award, and the "China Good Books" award. CCG serves as the leading unit of the China Association of Children's Newspaper Workers, the Children's Reading Materials Commission of the China Publishers Association, the Children's Book Editing Committee of the China Editors Society, the Children's Reading Materials Distribution Commission of the China Book and Periodical Distribution Association, and the Chinese branch of the International Board on Books for Young People.
