机械工业仪器仪表综合技术经济研究所（简称“仪综所”）成立于1980年，是国务院国有资产监督管理委员会管理的事业单位。从事传感器及智能仪器仪表、测量控制与自动化领域基础共性与前沿技术研究；为政府制定产业政策、编制规划计划、实施行业管理提供支撑；面向社会提供标准化、检验检测、评估评测、信息咨询、技术推广等公益性服务。 仪综所建有测量控制设备及网络质量检测中心、安全中心检验机构、控制网络及系统功能安全重点实验室、测控设备及系统功能安全工程中心、国家中小企业公共服务示范平台，是全国工业过程测量控制和自动化标准化技术委员会（SAC/TC124）、工业和信息化部智能制造综合标准化工作组、中德智能制造标准工作组等标准化组织机构秘书处单位。目前，承担着先进制造与自动化、智能制造、科学仪器、传感器和物联网、文化科技创新工程等领域一批*和省部级科研项目，为中石油、中石化、中车、国电等企业提供服务，出版《中国仪器仪表》和《仪器仪表标准化与计量》期刊等。
