The company was founded in 2000 and is now a joint venture between Dongfeng Hongtai Holdings Group Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Aerospace Moulding Co., Ltd. In order to expand production and enhance corporate competitiveness, the company invested more than 100 million yuan in 2003 to build a 10,000 m2 production plant. By introducing spraying robots, automatic paint supply and mixing systems, and purchasing spraying production systems, it has achieved automated coating, automatic paint supply and mixing, automatic cleaning, automatic identification, and automatic color changing in enclosed production, forming an annual production capacity of 360,000 sets of colored exterior parts. This production line was built in accordance with European automotive exterior parts painting process standards (one wash, three sprays, three bakes) and is at a leading level in the domestic automotive exterior parts coating field.
