Bridgestone (Changzhou) Auto Parts Co., Ltd. was established in 2003. It is a wholly Japanese-owned enterprise founded by Bridgestone Corporation in Xinbei District, Changzhou, specializing in the production and sales of automotive anti-vibration rubber parts. The company is located at No. 78 Tianshan Road, Xinbei District, with a registered capital of USD 10.3186 million. It is the sixth anti-vibration rubber production plant invested by Bridgestone Corporation globally.
Bridgestone Corporation was founded in 1931, named after the English pronunciation of the surname of its founder, Shojiro Ishibashi, meaning "stone bridge".
