Aerospace Planning and Design Group Co., Ltd. is a new platform under China Aerospace Construction Group Co., Ltd. (i.e., the Seventh Academy of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, referred to as the Seventh Academy) engaged in engineering service business segments. It is a second-level legal entity under the Seventh Academy, with a registered capital of 265 million yuan and its headquarters located in Beijing. Aerospace Design Group holds qualifications including Class A comprehensive engineering design, Class A urban and rural planning compilation, Class A comprehensive engineering survey, Class A surveying and mapping, Class A credit for engineering consulting units, Class A engineering supervision, Class A engineering cost consultation, Class A geological hazard risk assessment, and pressure pipeline design; it also possesses construction enterprise qualifications such as general contracting for building engineering construction, professional contracting for electronic and intelligent engineering, professional contracting for environmental protection engineering, professional contracting for building mechanical and electrical installation, and professional contracting for building decoration and renovation; and it has the right to operate general contracting for foreign projects. Aerospace Design Group has established more than 50 subordinate units including the General Department, Innovation Institute, Comprehensive Design Institute, Survey and Design Institute, Specialized Design Institute, Business Divisions, Regional Branch Companies, Wholly-owned Subsidiaries, and Holding Companies. With "high-end planning and consulting, engineering consulting design and EPC, engineering informatization, equipment design and integration, and comprehensive technology services" as its five major development directions. Its business scope covers engineering design; engineering survey; surveying and mapping services; geotechnical engineering; engineering supervision; technology development, technology consulting, and technology services; pressure pipeline design; product design; research and development of electronic components; technical equipment manufacturing; thermal insulation materials; technology development of thermal insulation materials; planning management; environmental assessment and testing; economic information consulting; import and export of goods, agency import and export, and technology import and export; bidding agency; geological survey services; general contracting for construction; professional contracting; technical testing; sales of building materials; information system integration services; industrial design services; engineering management services; industrial robot manufacturing; and landscaping engineering construction.
