中石油吉林化工工程有限公司前身为原化学工业部第九设计院，始建于1958年，是新中国成立*早的*化工勘察设计单位之一，现隶属中国石油寰球工程有限公司。经过六十五年的发展，公司已成为以石油化工、新材料新能源等领域，集技术转让、工程咨询、工程设计、工程总承包于一体的大型工程公司。
目前拥有工程设计甲级资质，授权专利118项，开发工艺包30余项，其中12项已经工业化。先后荣获“全国工人先锋号”、“中国建设工程鲁班奖”、“用户满意建筑工程奖”、“优质工程金质奖” 、“优秀设计金质奖” 、“国家优秀专利奖”等国家和省、部级荣誉200多项。现有员工1000余人。
