Hunan Wolbo Precision Tools Co., Ltd.

Hunan Wolbo Precision Tools Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Wolbo" or the "Company") was established in November 2015 with a registered capital of RMB 414.37 million. The Company was originally named Shanghai Wufu Investment Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Wufu"), with its original registered address in the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. In December 2022, the Company came under the investment control of Central South University Powder Metallurgy Engineering Research Center Co., Ltd. and Hunan Xingxiang Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd. (an investment company under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission). On January 17, 2023, the Company was renamed "Hunan Wolbo Precision Tools Co., Ltd." and relocated to Hunan Xiangjiang New Area.
The Company's products focus on cutting tools for the aerospace field, cutting tools for the new energy vehicle field, and high-performance PVD coatings, mainly providing high-end cutting tools for the machining of difficult-to-machine materials such as high-temperature alloys, titanium alloys, and carbon fiber composites in the aerospace field; the machining and coating of new energy vehicle motor housings and shafts; and the machining of high-hardness mold materials.
The Company has acquired the German WOLF Tool Group. Through technology conversion and independent innovation, the Company has transferred the core technologies of the German WOLF Gruppe to China, and will invest in and build a factory in Changsha in the second half of this year. Through collaborative innovation with Central South University and Hunan Boyun Dongfang Powder Metallurgy Co., Ltd., the Company will form a complete industrial chain covering the R&D and manufacturing of high-performance cemented carbide materials—cutting tool design and manufacturing—coating—cutting tool application, striving to elevate China's cutting tool and coating technology and manufacturing level into the world's top tier and achieve independent controllability of high-end cutting tool technology.
The Company has conducted technical exchanges, product trial production and trial use, and batch supply with aerospace enterprises represented by AECC South Industry Co., Ltd., AECC Zhongchuan Transmission Machinery Co., Ltd., and COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd., as well as automotive and auto parts enterprises represented by Schaeffler (China).
