Hunan Water Conservancy and Hydropower Survey, Design, Planning and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hunan Hydropower Design Institute") was founded in 1949. It is a national Class A survey and design unit integrating engineering planning, survey, design, scientific research, consulting, testing and monitoring, as well as engineering general contracting and engineering supervision. It ranks among the top 100 in comprehensive strength in the national engineering survey and design industry, holds AAA credit rating in the national water conservancy construction market, and is an AAA+ credit-rated unit in China's water conservancy and hydropower survey and design industry, as well as a national high-tech enterprise.
