Nanchang People's Hospital (Nanchang Third Hospital)

Nanchang People's Hospital (Nanchang Third Hospital) was founded in 1917, originally the French church hospital - St. Louis Hospital. In 2008, it was additionally named "Jiangxi Breast Specialized Hospital", and in 2016, it was additionally named "Nanchang Maternal and Child Health Hospital". Over the past century, through the unremitting efforts of generations, the hospital has developed into a Grade 3A comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, rehabilitation, and healthcare, with breast disease specialty as its brand, maternal and child health diagnosis and treatment system as its feature, comprehensive discipline groups as its focus, and medical technology discipline groups as its support.
The hospital is an officially registered unit of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a national demonstration unit for traditional Chinese medicine in general hospitals, a national drug clinical trial institution, a pilot unit of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health for "Green and Safe Hospital", a national demonstration base for the breast cancer early diagnosis and early treatment project of the Healthy China 2020 Women's Cancer Prevention and Treatment Project, a national "2017 Demonstration Hospital for Improving Medical Services", a national "Innovative Hospital for Improving Medical Services", a provincial "Advanced Unit for Improving Maternal and Child Health Capacity", and won the Provincial Health Informatization Promotion Excellence Award.
