It is a specialized manufacturer of automotive disc brakes, a high-tech enterprise in Hubei Province, a key high-tech enterprise under the National Torch Plan, and one of Wuhan's 30 key technological transformation project enterprises. The company mainly produces two major series of disc brakes: automotive air-pressure and hydraulic disc brakes. In 2007, the company already held 90% of the domestic market share for air-pressure disc brakes and 12% of the domestic independent-brand market share for hydraulic disc brakes. The company currently has registered capital of 58 million yuan, total assets of 400 million yuan, net assets of 85 million yuan, a factory area of 20,000 square meters, and more than 500 employees, including 56 engineering and technical personnel, of whom 23 hold intermediate or higher technical titles. The company has 2 PhD holders and 16 master's degree holders, and employees with a college degree or above account for 47% of the total workforce. The company was among the earliest domestic enterprises engaged in the research, development, and production of automotive hydraulic and air-pressure disc brakes. Its product design concepts, manufacturing processes, process equipment, as well as testing and inspection conditions, are all ahead of peers in the industry. It owns 6 utility model patents and 2 invention patents. The self-developed hydraulic dual-cylinder disc brake made the company the first enterprise in the domestic industry with independent intellectual property rights. The research and development of the air-pressure disc brake was a domestic first and obtained a national patent. The successful development of this product not only realized the upgrading and replacement of commercial vehicle brakes in China from drum brakes to disc brakes, achieving effects such as improved braking safety, elimination of brake noise, reduced product weight, and lower maintenance costs, filling a domestic gap and successfully replacing similar imported products, but also brought China's automotive brake products to an internationally advanced level, giving them the capability to compete in the international market. The company's products are not only supplied to multiple OEMs such as Dongfeng Motor Corporation, JAC Motors Group, SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd., King Long Motor Corporation, Guangzhou Junwei, Zhengzhou Yutong, and Dandong Huanghai, but are also provided to Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Company through Bosch's global procurement network, and key brake components are exported to Europe and North America.
