中国资源卫星应用中心（以下简称资源中心）创建于1991 年，是由中华人民共和国国家发展和改革委员会以及国家科技工业局负责业务领导、中国航天科技集团有限公司负责行政管理的科研事业单位。资源中心作为我国三大卫星数据中心之一的陆地观测卫星数据中心，目前负责运营管理资源系列、高分系列、环境减灾、空基系列等总计30颗民用卫星资源，肩负着建设我国陆地观测卫星数据集中处理、统一存档、统一分发的重要责任，取得了丰硕的科研及应用成果。2023年，资源中心将继往开来，认真承担好中国陆地观测卫星数据中心的各项职责，加快推进国家民用空间基础设施建设，打造*遥感数据服务网络平台，不断提升民用遥感卫星公益服务水平，加快建成*民用陆地观测卫星数据中心，为建设航天强国、数字中国、质量强国等作出应有贡献。
