Guangzhou Nanfang Architectural Design and Research Institute, established in 1993, is a Grade A design unit for the construction industry (architectural engineering) approved by the national construction authority (design certificate number: A144017989). The institute is a comprehensive design enterprise integrating planning and design, architectural design, environmental design, interior design, and architectural technology research. The head office has seven comprehensive design institutes, as well as the BIM Smart City Design Branch and the Landscape Design Branch, with branches also established in Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuhan, Chongqing, and Chengdu. In recent years, through cooperation with renowned foreign architects and design institutions, Guangzhou Nanfang Architectural Design and Research Institute has extended its engineering projects to the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Throughout its development, Guangzhou Nanfang Architectural Design and Research Institute has leveraged the advantages of a private design enterprise to build an elite design team, extensively expand the market, and achieve a transformation from a knowledge-based to a capital-knowledge-based enterprise.
