Chongqing Midea General Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd. is a large-scale central air-conditioning manufacturing enterprise under Midea Group, located in Chayuan New City, Nan'an District, Chongqing, covering an area of 300 mu. It currently has 5 factory buildings, 106,000 square meters of production workshops, and 20 production lines, mainly producing large-scale chillers including centrifugal machines and screw machines. The Chongqing Testing Center covers an area of 15,000 square meters, with a total of 21 testing benches, and possesses Asia's leading AHRI-certified centrifugal machine laboratory and centrifugal compressor manufacturing workshop. Our company was awarded the title of High-tech Enterprise in 2011, and was recognized as a National Enterprise Technology Center in 2012. Since its establishment, it has obtained more than 400 authorized patents, including over 160 invention patents. It has five major R&D platforms in Silicon Valley (USA), Italy, Shunde, Hefei, and Chongqing. Chongqing locally has a professional R&D team of over 100 people, and its large-scale central air-conditioning products and technologies are at a leading level. In recent years, our company has successively won bids for large-scale projects at home and abroad, such as Russian World Cup venues, Don Mueang International Airport, Mercedes-Benz South Africa factory, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, Beijing Daxing Airport, Hefei Metro Line 6, China Mobile Data Center, etc. The global market share of centrifugal machines ranks among the top among domestic brands; in 2025, it was awarded the industry's first full-process AI-empowered Lighthouse Factory.
