Guangzhou Baiyunshan Guanghua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is one of the pillar enterprises of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group, which ranks first in the national pharmaceutical industry top 100 list and is a Fortune Global 500 company. Founded in 1912 as the Tang Shiyi Pharmaceutical Factory, it inherited Sun Yat-sen's aspiration of "Glorifying China" and was named "Guanghua" (Glorious China). It is one of the earliest integrated Chinese-Western pharmaceutical factories in South China. In 2006, Guanghua Company became a designated pharmaceutical procurement enterprise of the United Nations; in 2010, it was awarded the title of "China Time-honored Brand" enterprise.
