Shanghai Hongbo Engineering Consulting Management Co., Ltd., formerly known as Shanghai Hongbo Construction Engineering Supervision Co., Ltd., was established in 1994 with a registered capital of 5 million yuan. The company holds multiple Class A supervision qualifications issued by the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Water Resources, and the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision, covering such specialties as water conservancy, housing construction, municipal engineering, greening, highways, ports, communications, intelligent equipment, etc. In addition, the company also has bidding agency and surveying qualifications. In July 2000, it passed the ISO quality system certification by China Fangyuan Committee. The company implements a three-level management system, with four functional departments: General Office, Chief Engineer's Office, Finance Department, and Market Development Department, and also has advisory departments, several project management departments, and several branches, under which there are on-site supervision departments. The company has abundant human resources, sufficient office equipment, and instruments. It now has more than 400 professional staff, including 265 with intermediate or senior technical titles, and over 150 holders of various supervision practice qualification certificates. In addition to conventional office equipment and survey instruments, the company is equipped with a large number of computers, digital cameras, and video cameras, and has purchased dynamic GPS, nuclear density gauges, underwater depth sounders, rebar scanners, and several imported total stations and levels. To improve management level and efficiency, the company has established an internal local area network and uses customized internal management software to achieve resource sharing and real-time information transmission.
