Overview Changsha Renhe Hospital (formerly the Central Hospital of China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau) is a non-profit secondary general hospital. It is a Baby-Friendly Hospital of the National Health Commission and a Double-Civilization Unit directly under Hunan Province. The hospital's Obstetrics and Gynecology Department has been awarded the National March 8th Red Banner Collective and the Hunan Province Furong Model Post, the Surgery Department has been awarded the Provincial Youth Civilization Award, and the Nuclear Medicine Department is the National Nuclear Medicine Hunan Demonstration Base of the Chinese Medical Association. The hospital was founded in July 1966, located in Panzhihua, Sichuan; in 1973 it moved to Jingwanzi, Changsha; in June 1979 it was established as the Staff Hospital of the Fifth Bureau of the National Construction Engineering Administration; in 1982 it was renamed the Central Hospital of China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau; and in 2005 it was renamed Changsha Renhe Hospital.
