Changsha Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. was founded in 1979 and is one of the first batch of 63 Class A architectural design units in China. In 2001, it was one of the pilot units for national restructuring and was restructured into a joint-stock enterprise. In 2005, it passed the national ISO9001 quality management certification. In 2018, it became a subsidiary of China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation Limited (which listed on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2019 as a *central enterprise and *A+H share company), a large central enterprise directly supervised by the national state-owned assets supervision authority, bringing the institute's management capabilities and technological innovation to a new level, and jointly building a full-process industry chain for the construction industry. On the basis of traditional business, the scope of operations has added rail transit business, engineering general contracting and other segments, broadening the business scope, achieving transformation and opening up, and promoting high-quality development of the enterprise. The company currently has multiple survey, design and consulting qualifications, including Class A qualifications for architectural engineering, urban and rural planning, landscape architecture engineering, and road engineering, as well as Class B qualifications for drainage engineering, bridge engineering, geotechnical engineering, and engineering consulting. It has internal management departments such as the Comprehensive Office, Market Operations Department, Technology Center, and Finance Department, as well as professional design branches for architecture, planning, municipal engineering, transportation and engineering general contracting, and a Zhuhai branch. It has a highly qualified and experienced professional team, with more than 260 employees: including 55 with senior professional titles, 118 with intermediate professional titles, and 71 various national registered professionals. Since its establishment, the company has achieved brilliant results and enjoys an outstanding reputation. It has won many honorary titles, including Integrity Unit of the National Architectural Design Industry, Outstanding Survey and Design Unit of the National Survey and Design Industry for the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China, Advanced Unit for Engineering Construction Standard Design in Central South China, and Advanced Survey and Design Enterprise of Changsha City. Nearly 100 design achievements have won national, provincial and municipal excellent engineering survey and design awards, contributing a large number of high-quality projects to society.
