Soil Institute of Guangdong Provincial Academy of Environmental Science

Guangdong Provincial Academy of Environmental Science, established in 2008, is a public welfare third-class institution under the Guangdong Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment. It has developed into a comprehensive research and development institution integrating environmental science, environmental planning, environmental standards, environmental ecology, environmental assessment, pollution control technology and engineering design, and engineering implementation. It holds multiple qualifications including environmental engineering consulting, engineering design, environmental engineering contracting, and laboratory metrology certification.
The Institute of Ecological Environment and Soil Remediation, established in July 2011, focuses on ecological environment protection and soil pollution control and remediation. Oriented by scientific frontiers and application needs, it conducts research in regional ecological surveys and assessments, urban ecological planning and design, heavy metal pollution prevention, soil environmental management policies and planning, regional soil environmental surveys, contaminated site assessments, soil and groundwater remediation of contaminated sites, environmental supervision of soil remediation projects and third-party acceptance, farmland soil remediation, nature reserve management, biodiversity conservation, etc. It has formed advantageous disciplines in regional ecological assessment, urban ecological environment planning, soil pollution prevention, and contaminated site investigation and assessment, with strong influence in the regional industry.
