Hunan Rare Earth New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. was established in August 2008, jointly funded by Hunan Rare Earth Metal Materials Research Institute, Hunan Nonferrous Environmental Protection Research Institute, Xiangdian Co., Ltd. and seven other enterprises, with a registered capital of RMB 216 million. Relying on the strong R&D capabilities of Hunan Rare Earth Metal Materials Research Institute, the company vigorously develops rare earth new energy and new material related industries. The company is a high-tech enterprise in Hunan Province, a new material enterprise in Hunan Province, and a "specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative" little giant enterprise in Hunan Province. It has passed IATF-16949 quality system certification. Its main products are high-performance sintered NdFeB and samarium-cobalt rare earth permanent magnetic materials. It possesses a full-process production line including melting, hydrogen decrepitation, powder making, forming, sintering, machining (grinding, cutting, drilling, etc.), and product surface coating, and is the largest rare earth permanent magnet production enterprise in Hunan Province.
